Help Rebuild Lives in Israel

By Tal Dooreck Aloni (@talthetraveler)

In Partnership with Kerem House & Yad L’Olim

Since moving from Miami to Israel just eight months ago, I’ve been on the ground every day volunteering with families who have lost everything.

Since the attacks from Iran, thousands of Israeli families have been forced to flee their homes, now living in hotels and temporary shelters with no clear return date.

Through this campaign, in partnership with Kerem House and Yad L’Olim(registered nonprofits), we’re raising $250,000 to provide real-time, direct relief for the Olimevacuees in need! Your donation will directly support these displaced families by funding the following efforts.

Your Donation Will Help Us

•    Childcare and Summer Programs to restore a sense of normalcy for children living in evacuation centers
   •    Hot meals for evacuees, soldiers, and the volunteers working tirelessly to support them
   •    Entertainment and therapeutic relief for evacuees in hotels and hospital patients / trauma victims in impacted areas
   •    Debris removal and apartment clearing, helping families prepare to return home when it’s safe

This is about dignity, healing, and restoring hope for Israelis who have lost everything. Your donation goes directly to the evacuees in need. Where it matters most and when it matters most.

The Full Story

Tel Aviv and its surrounding neighborhoods have been hit hard by Iranian missiles. Olim, among native Israelis, have lost their homes or don’t have kitchens, child care and basic support.

Following the unexpected devastation, Tal surveyed the wreckage surrounding the ballistic missile crater offering aid to those in need. A sharp notification beeped from inside Instagram and behold, Daniel of Kerem House was near.  The two men sought out those in need at a hastily erected volunteer coordination tent where they led team of helper to clear rubble from destroyed homes.

Following the long days of rubble clearing, Tal and Daniel knew they could accomplish even more together, but they needed a hand. Daniel reached out to Oleh mentor and former Knesset Member Dov Lipman for help and together with Yad L'olim the trio was now complete and it was time to support the city and the people they call, home. Today they work together to help Olim impacted by the missle attacks in Tel Aviv and other cities impacted by the attacks.
